I've essentially traded one maze or boxes for another, though luckily this one has the potential to diminish as time goes by.

We live in South Lyon now, which is great. It's not the city, but it's not the ghetto, which makes me happy. Our apartment it's nice and roomy. Hopefully this will mean I will have no episodes of clostophobia while we live here ^_~

Placement test in two weeks. Better start studying.

Also, there is a Xenu hair in my cantaloupe.

the mysterious palace of boxes [Aug. 12th, 2009|08:59 pm]
We have a great wall of boxes in our hallway. The bathroom and kitchen are looking quite sparse. Meanwhile the livingroom looks like a tornado when through.

We have an army of trash bags.

Moving in two days!

So excited.

Broad? [Mar. 16th, 2009|12:40 am]
Generality can be kind of a cop-out, but I don't want to get too specific this close to 1 am.

Too often do we go through life without really expressing the ways that we appreciate or love others. We get caught up in our own lives, our pride, our ego, etc., that we don't take the time to let our friends and family know how we feel.

So, in a broad, somewhat impersonal way, I'm saying that I appreciate and love you. A lot of those people can read this, so, you know who you are. Really, it's pretty frickin hard to get on my bad side, so even if you think I don't like you, you're probably wrong. You irritate me at best.

There are a lot of people who touch my life and I find that when some of you have come and gone, there is a hole left in my routine that makes me wish we could still do those things that we have done in the past. (too vauge? read: hang out, drink, watch tv, talk, play D&D, philosiphize, laugh etc)

So there.

I would love to make one, but knitting takes me forever and a day. Plus I have that blue/purple/pink varriagted granny squares afghan I haven't been working on....

Lemony good? Maybe... [Feb. 24th, 2009|10:59 pm]
So the last couple of days I have been sitting down at my computer, turning on the "Mountain Chill" ambient radio station on iTunes, commanding for there to be silence, and ... writing fan fiction. O.o

Old habits die hard. But by god, it's satisfying.

Passions [Feb. 22nd, 2009|02:16 am]
Most of my friends probably do not know, but there is one game that I am more passionate about than Warcraft. Something about it just gets my blood going.

My best hope is that Valve will go hmmm, and that their greedy juices will flow, hire these guys, and do something official.

I'd die.

Last night I was terrified by the cold realization that someone I loved may have ruined my life in permanent ways. There is nothing to validate this fear, other than a breach of trust, which eventually spreads to every aspect of my every day life as I remember every experience shared.

But, D&D was hella fun. Glad we have that to brighten our week.

Also, yay for giant beading books that could kill a small rodent.
